These are regularly scheduled appointments to assure the optimal dosage and medication regimen.

Care is taken to treat patients as individuals regarding specific diagnosis, wants and needs, and ongoing treatment planning.

Consultation

Comprehensive Diagnostic Intake / Psychological Evaluation

This is a 90 minute initial appointment. We take time to completely understand your concerns and to work together to find the treatment strategy  that best fits your needs and preferences.

All psychiatric intakes include diagnostic feedback, treatment recommendations, and prescriptions (if warranted).

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

Weekly individual therapy involves 45-minute weekly sessions, in which we check in about your mood, progress toward goals, and teach and practice new coping skills.

For youth under 18, weekly individual therapy also involves checking in with parents during most sessions and some parent-only and/or family sessions.

Dr. Shaw was the ideal therapist for me, as someone close to the mental health field! She delivered evidence-based care with integrity, and our work empowered me to reclaim parts of my life I didn’t think I could! The way we established clear goals and tracked my progress was very helpful, and she brought care and intention to every session. This was the kind of therapy I had been wanting for years!
