Psychiatrist, Psychologist, and Therapist positions available.
Would you like to be able to choose your own hours and work in a small, supportive multidisciplinary practice that prioritizes quality over quantity? If so, we think that Peace Behavioral Health might just have the opportunity that you’re looking for. Peace Behavioral Health is a boutique psychiatrist owned practice operating in Maine and Florida. We are committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care. We are small and intend to remain small so as to assure that our goals of quality care (important for both patient and provider) remain a priority.
This position will start part time and would likely become fulltime within 6 months. Clinicians seeking anywhere from 10-35 hours per week are encouraged to apply. You will work in Portland and/or Saco in a mix of in-person visits and telehealth which can be adjusted to your schedule. You will enjoy the intimacy of a smaller practice where you have the benefit of 90-minute psychiatric intake appointments, 30-minute follow up appointments. For psychologists/therapists intakes are 120 minutes and follow-ups are scheduled as 60 minutes. The position is outpatient only with no call. You will be an out of network provider with the benefit of decreased emphasis on patient volume. You will utilize and develop your skills while you provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental illnesses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and monitor patient progress. For psychiatrists, you will also have the option to provide stand-alone therapy, therapy in addition to medication management, or medication management only.
For Psychiatrists:
- Active medical license and board certification in Psychiatry or 4th or 5th year resident/fellow
- Child and Adolescent experience or fellowship training a plus
- Experience in providing evidence-based care

For Psychologists or experienced masters level therapists:

✔ Licensed in Maine.
Optional Qualifications that would be valued:
